Subject: Scotland 2006Hello North American Rangers,
The planning for the 5th World Congress of the International Ranger Federation for 2006 is well underway.
The four themes of the 2006 Congress are:
Access - Managing access from doorstep to wilderness
Benefits - Sharing environmental values and perceptions
Connections - Benefiting people and places
Delivery - Making the connections workRegistration for the Congress is now available on the Congress Web Site: http://www.int-ranger.net/congress.html. Early registration and payment of a deposit will save a good chunk of American dollars, so take a look at the web site soon. The board of IRF is currently discussing whether we will need to put a cap on the number of delegates from each country. That decision should be made soon. All registrations will be verified by country associations to ensure each participant is a member of a local association.
