The 19th Annual Retirees Rendezvous will be at McConnell State Recreation Area next September 30th, October 1st & 2nd, 2011. 2011 Retirees Rendezvous FLYER (pdf) REGISTRATION FORM, (Word doc) Complete and Mail The Retirees Rendezvous events will actually begin, with arrivals on Thursday and Friday (or a few days earlier if you just want to camp and relax). The reserved Campground is configured to accommodate almost any type of RV unit as well as tent camping. There are rest rooms, showers and water available, with a dump station a short drive into Turlock. Many motels are available in Turlock, if you don't want to rough it, and we'll provide a list with your registration package. The Clyde Strickler Road-Kill Grille: Continental Breakfast: Saturday Night Supper: The Annual Raffle Proceeds from registration and the raffle will first reimburse CSPRA for the seed money and cover presentation expenses. Any event income, over and above the cost of the Rendezvous, will go to the Jim Whitehead Memorial Scholarship Fund. Questions or suggestions on the Rendezvous? | Camaraderie of old and new friends is the main reason for the Rendezvous. It is an informal gathering of friends and acquaintances who have a common tie through State Parks as Active or Retired Employees, family or friends. If you know someone who fits this definition, who not receiving Rendezvous information, please let us know. Send their name & address to Allison Pedley, Executive Manager, CSPRA @ P.O. Box 10606, Truckee, CA 96162 and/or copy the information you have received and e-mail or give it to your buddy . . . then, bring them along with you. | |||||||||||

FYI, the team that has planned the Rendezvous the past 18 years has hung up the spurs and passed the reins on to a new generation of retirees. Our sincere thanks to Kirk Wallace, Jim Neal, Jim Peat and the many others who have been the core of past events.
