The California State Park Rangers Association proudly awards Honorary Membership to Joe and Catherine Stone for their dedication to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and the California State Park System.

Joe and Catherine Stone have volunteered over 11,700 hours to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park as campground hosts, curators, office staff, and researchers. They have also been active in the Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association, and Joe Stone has written numerous articles that promote the State Park System.
