On the Future of the Park Ranger and the Protection of Parks

Recently there have been online discussions regarding the need for increased park protection on CSPRAnet and GrayBears. Member Lynn Rhodes recently highlighted an article written in summer 1991 by then Ranger and now New York Times best-selling author, Jordan Fisher-Smith.
Lynn recommended to the CSPRA Board that a copy of the article be shared with every training class, those just getting started in a parks career, and that it be reprinted here on the CSPRA website.
